Vehicle Detail

FYI, I am re-listing this bike because the previous winning bidder never paid the deposit and refused to respond to any of my correspondence. I am offering for sale my 1977 Triumph Bonneville Silver Jubilee. This is the first year Triumph offered a special edition model. There were only 2,400 built and only 1,000 were sent to the US. I bought this bike from the original owner a couple of years ago. This bike only has 397 original miles on it. I know of only one other bike worldwide with less miles. The previous owner had it stored in a basement since 1982. The bike still has the 1982 inspection sticker on it. Hagerty values the bike at $15K Concourse, $12K excellent, $9K good condition and $6,500 fair. I would place the bike between fair and good condition. There is pitting on the mufflers and rims as you can see in the photos. The front rim is a little worse than the rear as the fork seals went bad and leaked on the rim. The bike starts easily and runs great. The bike also has a clean title in my name so no issues with paperwork. The Jubilee VINs started at GP84166 and this one is 84204 so that puts it at number 38 off the assembly line. I have listed the things I have done to it below. All replacement parts are OEM. All electrical items work. Changed all fluids. (The oil drained from bike looked like it just came out of the can.)Purged and cleaned all brake lines.Rebuilt both Master CylindersReplaced power wiring with larger gauge.Replaced both petcocks.Replaced fuel lines.Rebuilt both carbs.Replaced condensors and plugs.New BatteryNew Tires and tubes.Rebuilt front suspension. (Fork seals, dust covers, etc.)Sandblasted/repainted center and side stands. I have most of the original parts I replaced. I also have new rubbers for the rider footrests and the kicker arm, just have not put them on yet. The originals cleaned up pretty well. Feel free to text or email with any questions. I have more photos and a video of the bike being started and running. Patina seems to be the order of the day now so I left it as I found it with the exception of cleaning it up and making it mechanically sound. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Thanks for looking! On Apr-07-17 at 10:10:46 PDT, seller added the following information: HI ALL. I HAVE ADDED A LINK TO A VIDEO ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL SHOWING THE BIKE BEING STARTED, RUNNING AND VERIFICATION OF THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. I FORGOT TO HIT THE HORN, BUT IT DOES WORK. PLEASE CHECK IT OUT. YOU MAY HAVE TO COPY THE LINK INTO YOUR BROWSER BAR. THANKS. https://youtu.be/wA3i5dmcylY
