This little Spitfire has had a lot of work done to it recently. It was taken down to a bare metal chassis and then built back up. The paint is new, a brand new top has been installed, new clutch master and slave cylinders, new brake master cylinders, new tires ( they still have the nubs on them), the seats have been reupholstered, a new windshield and gasket was installed, and a new metal transmission tunnel was created to replace the cardboard one. The car starts easily and runs very well. It shifts through all of the gears without any grinding or problems. The front and rear bumpers have been modified to be much smaller and better looking than the stock units. They are reasonably straight and rust free. Actually, the entire vehicle is rust free. Any issues that the car had were repaired while it was being stripped and repainted. I do not have the title but have legal ownership of the Spitfire and will provide you with paperwork that will allow you to get a paperwork in your name. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle.
