Vehicle Detail
*UPDATE: I have just gotten the truck back from the shop and it is ready to go. New battery, cables, terminals, voltage regulator, alternator, tires, brake system gone through, wipers, points and condenser, all fluids have been checked and well as the power steering unit. You no longer have to strong arm the truck. It steers with one finger. Have receipts for the work done. It is a nice truck and very, very restorable. Please read below for more information. Up for sale is my 1973 Ford F100. I need to let go of just about everything I have in order to keep where I currently stay. I don't want to sell it,but it is what it is I guess. It's a super clean, nice truck and I love it. If you are looking for a clean '73 F100 with barely any rust, this is the perfect truck for you. I have started a restoration on it as you can tell. It has brand new tires, new grille pieces, brochures, manuals and everything you need to continue my process. The truck is completely original-paint has slight patina on it,I have a factory radio antenna ready to go in-the truck runs and drives great now. Factory 390 4 barrel engine,Factory AC and it's all hooked up. Windsheild has a slight scratch from old wiper blades on the right side. Dual exhaust, trailer hitch, lights are hooked up. The truck has brand new tires with less than 30 miles on them, factory hubcaps in great shape and shows very well. Right side of the bed has a few small dings and one light dent(all would be super easy fixes). The truck sat since 2005 so it will need a little TLC to be daily driven, but you have a really nice start here. You don't run across these in this kind of shape every often. Most have been used for what they were intended for. This one was babied. I'm not very happy about this, but someone will enjoy this truck and I can't keep it. Truck has 93,000 original miles on it. I will add more photos today. On Mar-11-17 at 12:31:15 PST, seller added the following information: 4-17-17: I'm going to include a can of SEM coating in landau black for the rubber mat in the cab to give it a nice, original look. You can use it if you wish,or not. It's a flexible coating and doesn't come off. It will be there for you though. The reserve is set pretty low. I'm not asking a fortune for the truck. I would like to see it go to a good home though and someone who might continue where I'm leaving off. On Apr-24-17 at 07:50:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Reserve has been lowered. It is priced to sell and whoever gets it is getting one steal of a deal here. I've seen trucks worse than mine selling for around 4-5k and this one is better than those by far. Not perfect, but a great start to having a very nice '73 F100 with a 390 and A/C. I'm basically giving it away.
