Pre Spring sale. Drive it where you want to go, car located in Eugene, oregon was stored last winter. Solid grade 8 roadster for fun year round with removable hard top and new soft top. Has some issues hard to see in photos. A little paint area clear coat deterioration. Always a west coast car no rust anywhere . Nice seats, nice carpets. You need a little patience and courage to own one of these. Sometimes the top automatic feature may not work, (there are twenty six relays and valves) so far here so good, its working fine. My heater control is on and wont shut off ( I am evaluating) . May just be a wd40 issue from storage. Benz knew the top was complex, it CAN BE EASILY MANAGED manually, with a short learning curve. Remember you only remove the hard top and put it back on once each season. Not hard to do. This is a very good year and engine design for the R129 series, it is uncomplicated, easy engine access, few computer worriers, and very basic ignition. Shifts very nicely.
