True barn find Dodge truck. History: truck was purchased new by Korean War Vet work civil service in New Mexico. He drove only for camping and fishing. He was transferred to Ft. Carson in 1978. He retired 1984 and sold the truck to a friend/co-worker in 1985 (passed away shortly after) who worked at Ft Carson and again only used the truck for camping and fishing. The friend retired in 1996 bought a new truck and simply parked the truck in a barn in case he ever needed it. I purchased the truck in 2013 right before he passed away. But with failing health and family fighting I left the truck in the barn till last September (2016). I had it towed to my home. Took very little to get running nicely, and it does run very well. Wanted it as a construction truck but way too rare to abuse it like that so have decided to sell. Minor problems with truck: bent front bumper, tail light trim ring, rust on both rockers (no other rust found, except minor surface) cracked windshield, door handle on passenger side (I broke) 1 tear in seat, brakes work but will need attention. Still running L-78-15" tires (at least 25 yrs old).Other info, dealer installed A/C, 2 extra fuel tanks, CB radio, 8-track player, fresh fluids, new battery. Drives really well, clutch feels great. Feels like its a new truck in many ways except 47 yrs old. I have never transferred the title, but I do have it, and its signed by former owner only. Therefore on paper you will be the 3rd owner. Title is good and from 1985 (super cool) in my hand. Honestly feel the truck is worth over $4000, but truly I am not a dodge guy, I like Studebakers and Chevy's. There is no buy it now price cause a couple of guys have tried that then never came through, cash in my account or hand of enough will end the auction, if not high bidder gets it.
