2006 Mercury Mountaineer - All Wheel Drive - 4.0 6 Cylinder - 120,445 CarFax Documented Miles Runs and drives excellent, but overheats. This truck is going to the highest bidder in As Is condition. No Reserve! It seems like a head gasket problem. Thermostat and housing were cracked. After replacing them the truck started running hot after only a couple of miles. We did not use any stop leak - assume it's the head gasket. Tires and brakes are excellent. Leather and sunroof grace this fine automobile. Interior needs a good cleaning and vacuum, but is in excellent condition. Vehicle has third row seating. Body has some minor issues (as pictured). Shipping is recommended. This truck belonged to a customer of my mechanic's repair shop and was well maintained. The vehicle now belongs to my mechanic and any questions can be directed to him. Cash or certified check.
