Vehicle Detail

Here is the Story: Just purchased due to solid condition; hard parts are done. When I got it, started getting into it and realized this is not what I want to do again at my age; I've owned 3 Mustangs now and this one is mostly cosmetic left. The car is loud and strong and would make someone a great car -- I've put a magnet all over this car and it is solid. Car has always been in Texas until now and title proves it. I've been all over the car from front to back and top to bottom. I'm going to list all the good and bad so you know exactly what you are buying. The Engine and Tranny are a 289 with 3 speed manual. Engine rebuilt with new carb and runs very strong. 3 Speed shifts well and clutch operates well. Great shape here. Could tweak idle a bit lower maybe? Body is rust-free and in good shape. Front fenders need adjusting a little to get perfect. Paint is older with chips, scratches and touchups; a 10 to 15 footer. Back window trim is repro and bottom right could be repositioned a little. Cragar 15 inch wheels are older; they present ok - just don't like Cragars, sorry! New exhaust hooked to Tri-Y Headers; loud and proud and sounds great! Manual steering is good -- don't have to deal with power steering leaks! Manual brakes actually work pretty good; just serviced. Front end suspension needs upper and lower rebuilt as rubber needs replacing. I have a new set of KYB shocks that will go with the car. The interior needs new dash pad, door panels, fold down carpet and trap door. Original steering wheel needs replacing and I have a new Grant Walnut steering wheel, mounting kit and turn signal switch that will go with the car. All glass is original and in great shape. Tach and clock work. Left interior turn signal light does not work; may need new bulb?? Original radio turns on but does not work. Headlights, brake lights, turn signals work perfectly, as does horn. Trunk is rust - free and original. I wiped one side with windex to show how nice trunk could be if cleaned. Original gas tank is good; a new one would look better?? This car is in overall great shape with a whole lot of potential. I'm very critical with my assessment and I believe I haven't missed much of anything. I've realized I'm getting too old to do this even though I've enjoyed it. I will entertain any reasonable offer. Somebody is going to get a great car at a really great price.
