I was asked by the family to represent it. Unfortunate he passed 6 months ago. All of the proceeds go to the grandchildren, so this is a favor and one I emotionally took not only for the relationship we had, but for the quality this car is. I put my name on this car. For years I watched it come and go, always garaged. I have maintained many things from brakes, and much more. In 2012 I recommended the car go to a high end shop here in Dallas where the Timing Belt, water pump and ALL 4 struts were replaced with Lexus OEM. The car is stellar, in fact with this generation Lexus, it is the last car anyone could ever need if you maintained it like it has been. I firmly believe this car would outlast a 2017 Lexus, and in 20 years, the 2017 will be junk and this will be a highly desired classic. This and the first gen LS400 is what put Lexus on the map. They DO NOT build them like these now.This car has 102K miles, and has all original paint other than the plastic nose was refinished in 2012 also. Just to keep the car looking new. All metal surfaces on the car are original and in STELLAR condition. Really the paint is so perfect it looks like a 5000 mile car. The headlamps that you see fade in every one of these are perfect. True sign of the cars life. Keep in mind, this was my neighbor. He was a car guy and a friend. It was driven, never on bad days. This was not his only car. This is NOT your beat to death used car brought back up by some "highline" used car company. Its not some auction junk. Its a cut above what you think and the line of questioning you may present to anyone else.. This car has always been like you see it. You do not see these cars on the road today in this shape.Car has heated seat option, high end CD stereo and integrated phone option. I believe this is all they offered on the SC400 as options.LOW Reserve, quite possibly the best car for the price you will ever see.
