1977 BMW R100RS in amazing original condition. 48,000 original miles. All service records since new (that's 40 years!) Bike has never been down or damaged. Updated to electronic ignition and YSS adjustable shocks for trouble free touring. Metzler tires with good tread. This 40 year old bike runs and rides extremely well. Starts right up, revs freely and shifts smoothly. Has been ridden weekly for the past two years that I have owned it. I've put 4,000 trouble free miles on it. Still a great touring ride, extremely comfortable at high speed over long distances. Has original tire pump, tool kit and manuals including rare workshop manual. Always scores well in the preservation class at bike shows with only minor surface wear, authentic patina, and light use scratches on paint. Has period correct PIAA driving lights updated with LED internals, period Reynolds drive-off center stand, and period Brown stay-down side stand. Look at pictures carefully to see all the extras that come with the bike. Comes with both factory 3/4 saddle and factory dual saddle with factory grab rail, upholstery on both saddles has no rips, holes or tears. 3/4 saddle has hardly been used and looks almost new. Some paint wear on tailpiece of dual saddle from luggage rack rubbing. Period correct Laminar Lip added to windshield to reduce turbulence. Has period daytime running light conversion. Comes with correct factory Krauser bags with inner bags and matching Krauser trunk. Includes two period factory Hepco/Becker racks, one with trunk mount and one without. Also includes rare Lufmeister fitted fairing bags. Also has modern magnetic tank bag and rear seat bag for maximum touring capacity.
