Welcome To CarolinaCorvettes Auctions! About MeI work full time and am the single father of two wonderful children. I sell items part time, mostly BMW and Corvette parts to help fuel my passion for my own hobbies. I used to be a full time eBay seller, though have not recently had enough time to list as much. However, you can see from my feedback that I am a seasoned seller and take the time to accurately list my items. I appreciate your business! About This Item2013 Chevrolet Corvette 5,791 Miles WARRANTY - Balance of factory 5 year/100,000 mile warranty until ~1/2018. Yes, that's right - you have nearly a year and 95k remaining on the powertrain warranty! Not bad for a 505HP SUPERCAR! Hi all, I'm selling my 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible. I searched long and hard for this car - it had to be perfect because I planned on keeping it for decades. However, life changes and with 2 little kids and a retiring father, I am selling my beloved in favor of something with more seating. A brief introduction for those of you who aren't familiar with a 427 convertible. It's a throwback to the legendary 427 convertible Corvettes of the 60's, most of which are now bringing 20-30x their original sticker. However, this one has more power and way more technological advancement. It's not a Grand Sport model, it has everything that car had and more. It's not a Z06 model, but it's very closely related. In fact, it's so close that it got everything the Z06 received except for the aluminum chassis, which was deemed to soft for an open top car. It also received several of the ZR1 items. To account for the stronger, heavier frame, the 427 convertible received a huge amount of carbon fiber - the hood, front fenders, front spoiler, rear spoiler, side skirts, and even the floor boards were all carbon fiber. This put the weight at only about 100lbs heavier than the Z06 model. Then GM added the ride control to make it more comfortable. In essence, it is the very best of everything GM had to offer for a convertible in 2013 - and it is a very special car indeed! My particular car is extremely well optioned, one of the best loaded examples you could buy. In addition the the base $75k car, it received nearly another $20k in options, including1SC package which gave a full leather interior (yes, even dash and door panels), memory package, power boltsers/lumbar, power folding top, garage door openers, etc.Carbon Fiber Package (front/rear spoiler, side skirts in addition to the std Carbon fiber offerings)ZR1 Chrome Aluminum Wheels60th Anniversary Design Package (Diamond Blue Leather Interior, suede steering wheel/shift boot/door handles)60th Anniverary Stripe PackageBattery Protection PackageBlue Convertible Top w/ Stripes to match 60th Stripe package.Total MSRP on this example was a whopping $93,440 - though you can take advantage of massive depreciation and get this future collectible for a savings of over $35k - with only 5791 miles. These are in addition to everything the normal 427 Convertible was equipped with, such as the massive 7.0L 427 Engine producing 505HP, dry oil sump system, 6 speed manual transmission, navigation system, Head Up Display (HUD), Bose Audio system, HID headlights, etc. I have the original build sheets and window sticker (laminated to preserve this history), as well as all records since new. It is mostly stock, though the front wheel splash guards have been replaced with the larger Apsis ones (about $400) to protect the side of the car from stone chips into the curvy widebody. It's also been treated to an $800 application of clear vinyl protectant to the front nose/fenders, mirrors, and rear quarters. These additions were done to protect the integrity of this car from normal wear and tear. As such, in addition to the extreme low mileage, this car was protected from day 1 to keep it pristine. I've priced this car very nicely. No, it's not the cheapest example out there. However, before you start shopping price to save a few thousand dollars, ask yourself if it's worth it to get a car with wear or even real damage. Many of these cars have normal rock chips and scratches, and several of them have cracked spoilers or bumpers, curb-rashed wheels, or entry wear to the seats. Many have higher mileage, or have been driven extremely hard. My car is the opposite. While I've driven it lively at times, I never have done so without properly warming the engine to temperature first. The paint/body are near perfect, and the interior looks almost factory fresh. I'm sure under a microscope I could find some wear somewhere, but it'd honestly take a while to turn up much. It's spent most of it's life indoors, hooked up to the included battery trickle charger. I'll have to admit, it did spend a night or two outside - though probably not more than 3 or 4. It even got rained on once. I'll detail it up before the new owner gets her to erase any of the unsightly dust that may have occurred during these nightmarish occurrences. Tires/clutch/brakes are all still in exceptional condition just as is the rest of the car, and there is no service necessary. EVERYTHING works just as it should. I have zero doubt, this car will one day be worth several million dollars and be the prize of a collection. For the next few decades though, it offers the rare opportunity to enjoy one of the finest open-top Corvettes GM has ever made. This will almost certainly be the last time that the legendary 427 cubic inch engine will have been offered - they've already reduced the size in favor of smaller, forced induction motors (even though they are overheating when driven hard). I do have a lien on the car. I will get an exact balance for the winning purchaser and they can send the payoff directly to the lender (Nationwide) and prepare a cashier's check for the balance to me (of entirety to me and I'll take care of the details). I will prepare a proper bill of sale and send the titlework as soon as I receive it (shouldn't take more than a couple of days to process/overnight everything). As you can see from my eBay rating, I've been here for 20 years and have sold around $800,000 in that time, including many high end vehicles. I'm a Corvette enthusiast through and through, and will be honest and upfront with any sale that I enter.
