This truck came from Texas and we bought it in January of 1999. It has been used for deliveries of trees, shrubs, and mulch in our garden center operation. Our store is closed from Thanksgiving until mid March, so this truck is basically parked all winter. It has NEVER plowed snow, and has pulled a trailer about 4 times total. The 9 foot Midwest Dump body is in very good condition and the Tommy Gate is the "dump thru" model and has been mighty useful for our operation. 1 guy can deliver a 2.5" caliper B&B tree with a ball cart using the lift gate. We learned over the years that we needed a dump bed longer than 9', so we bought a replacement truck last summer with an 11' dump body, and promptly added a new $5K Tommy Gate. Once you get accustomed to using the lift gate, it's hard to not have it. In 2010, our driver hit a bolt in the road which flew up hitting the oil pan. Before the driver could figure out what happened, the oil was gone and the engine was toast. We found a brand new crated engine and had it installed. This was at 110,500 miles, so the current engine in this truck has about 45,000 miles on it. The interior is in above average condition and the seat covers are in good shape. The dump bed is in very good condition and operates properly. The roll up tarp is included. The transmission shifts properly. The Tommy Gate works properly and we replaced the hydraulic motor and lift cylinder in it during winter 2016. There is a crack in the windshield, shown in the pix. There is a dent in the passenger door (minor). The 19.5 tires will need to be replaced soon. The pintle hitch is included, and has seen very little use. This truck would be ideal for a smaller landscape or construction operation. It certainly is not new, but it certainly is affordable.
