Vehicle Detail

I am listing this car for a friend, and he can be contacted via phone with all questions. His name is Alan, and his number is 520-891-6898. He did all of the restoration and upgrades personally, and can provide detailed information. He may consider posting a buy it now for the right offer, so don't be shy. This Sportwagon is located in Tucson, AZ, and has been a dry Arizona car for most of it's life. It is clean and rust free, as expected for a dry desert car. Alan and his family have used this as a daily driver for the last ten years, so it is turn key and ready to travel. The vintage Shasta trailer is not included in the sale, but can be purchased separately. Please ask Alan for details in you are interested in the trailer. Check out the cool GS hood and functional ram air induction system. This is a factory set up from a 1969 Buick Gran Sport. While not original equipment on wagons, it looks right at home on this one. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements. The car is available for inspection and test drives by appointment, and is currently registered and insured. The Arizona title is clear and ready to go. This wagon is road-ready and tour proven, but it is almost 50 years old, so we make no guarantees or warranties after the sale. It is a two seat wagon with large floor trunk. The two-way tailgate has a power window which functions perfectly.. The factory AC is still R-12 and functions ok.A new blower motor was installed in 2014.Custom Autosound retro look stereo with Ipod/Phone input.Dual speakers in dash and two 4x10 speakers in the rear. The interior is original with the exception of the carpet, headliner, visors and extra insulation in the floor. Factory roof rack with air deflector. The roof glass is original and the laminated tint is showing its age.All of the other windows have been tinted.I changed the paint color and scheme almost 11 years ago and it has had some touchups since then. The paint is not perfect but, it is more than good for any cruise night. I have owned this car for over 12 years and I believe that I am the third owner. To the best of my knowledge, the car was sold new in Rutgers, NJ but, it has spentalmost all of its life in Arizona so it is not rusty. After my kids quit driving it and moved on to college in 2012, I began rebuildingand modifying everything to tow a vintage trailer. After multiple trailer trips, it became obvious that the original engine was very tired so a new engine, built to tow, was installed in November, 2014. This car is not a perfect show car and I am not representing it as such. Instead it is a solid car with an awesome drive train that was built to drive on long road trips reliably and comfortably.
