Vehicle Detail

2003 BMW M5 (E39) -- LeMans Blue Metallic (381) Paint and Le Mans Blue (O5LB) UpholsteryUnder 81,000 miles - Rebuilt TitleThis car is in great condition. The paint looks amazing, interior is great and she'll start every time, putting a smile on your face as you release the clutch. As you can see by the list, I am very particular about my cars. I replace anything and everything that is close to wearing or as preventative maintenance. I daily drove this to my job that was only 4 miles away. I recently took a new job and am commuting 70+ miles for work and can't stand to put that mileage on this beautiful car. So, I have had it in my garage for a few months, while I could get up the courage to list her for sale.Engine:- This 4.9L V8 runs great, I have had zero issues with it and did an Oil analysis about 10k miles ago that showed no significant signs of wear- Jailbreak tune (expected to add 20-30hp)- K&N Air Filters- Catalytic Converters replaced with 100 Cell race cats (still passes inspection)- Tubi-style full exhaust (mid-pipes, resonators, mufflers)- New Power steering hoses, to fix leak @ 72k miles- New Fuel Filter @ 66k miles- New Spark Plugs @ 66k miles (NGK BKR6EIX)- New Radiator Overflow tank @ 70k miles (old one was yellow)- New Engine belts @ 66k miles (Continental belts)- New Thermostat @ 70k miles (lifetime warranty through FCP Euro)Suspension:- Has OEM suspension, handles great and shocks/springs seem to be in good shape.- New thrust arms w/ HD bushings @ 65k miles- New Center steering link, ti-rods & idler arm (no play in the steering, sharp response) @ 75k miles- Engine oil replaced every 5-6k miles with Lubrimoly 0w60- Alignment @ 70k miles & Road-force balance wheelsDrivetrain:- The clutch and transmission shift smoothly and hold the power great.- UUC short shifter, shorter than stock, but still a good feel.- New Transmission oil with syncromax @ 66k miles- New Diff Oil with Redline 75w140 @ 66k miles- New Guibo/Flex Bushing @ 76k miles- New Centric slotted rotors in front & new pads @ 70k milesInterior:- Leather is absolutely beautiful and soft, no cracks and/or creaks. I did a 2 day application of Leatherique @ 70k miles- Individual order Bruyere Club trim looks great, but does have a few cracks in the clear-coat. I thought I wanted to swap out for the Titanium trim, but after driving my friends E39 with the titanium trim, it's too harsh on the eyes (or i'm getting old). The Bruyere Club is nice for daily driving, give it some time and you'll appreciate it as well.- Replaced vapor barrier on both rear doors- New Cabin Charcoal filters @ 66k miles- BMW OEM ZHP Shift Knob (weighted and shorter)- OEM BMW Aux adapter w/ Bluetooth wired in- 20% ceramic tint on all windows w/ 95% clear ceramic tint on windshield- Rear sun-blind operates smoothly and all door sun-blinds work (This is hard to find)- Trunk is clean w/ cargo net and new trunk shocks, new Nav DVDExterior:-Paint is fantastic. I promise it is the deepest LeMans Blue you'll see on an E39 M5- Slimmbones front splitter & Carbon Fiber Rear diffuser- Flowforged 19x10 wheels. Custom ordered in Super Deep Concave, they made the mold for these wheels and I waited 6 months for them. Also, custom color.- Nitto NT-555 tires 295/35/19 @ 70k miles, so plenty of tread left.- Black Grills- All turn signal bulbs replaced with silver painted bulbs that shine amber, but look clear- LED angel eye bulbs- Fixed Driver mirror glass that was leaking, both mirrors are in great shape.Cons-Rebuilt title - I bought it wrecked and replaced the bumper, rad support, hood, headlights, underbody panels, wheel linings, brackets, bolts, with all new OEM parts. The frame wasn't damaged. Just unbolted the old parts and bolted new ones on, then had the front of the car painted, driver door and passenger door back are all still original paint, ΒΌ panels were faded in. You'd never tell by looking at the car now. I have pictures of the process if requested.
