2003 Ford Explorer XLT 4X4 7 passenger with the 4.0L V6 engine and an automatic transmission. Only 145,550 miles. Originally from Arizona and has only been in New England for a few years, so no rot! Loaded with power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power driver’s seat, third row seat, Pioneer touch screen HD AM/FM/CD/USB/AUX/DVD/Bluetooth radio with a remote control, air conditioning, rear defroster, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, keyless entry, and an alarm. The interior is in good condition with no major flaws. The exterior is also in good condition and the paint shines well. There are no rot holes anywhere. The rocker panels and fender lips are all solid. It has fog lights, running board, roof racks, alloy wheels, and a towing package with a trailer hitch. This SUV runs and drives very well. The engine starts easily, has plenty of power, and has no issues. There are no check engine lights or any other sort of warning lights. It drives great at 70 MPH on the highway. The transmission shifts smoothly. The four wheel drive engages easily and works well. It has been very well maintained throughout its life. Ford checked it over top to bottom in November of 2016. It got 4 new Kumho Road Venture aggressive tires, new front brake rotors, and new front brake pads. I just did new rear brake pads, new rear brake rotors, and new emergency brake shoes done in February 2017. Floor mats, owner’s manual, spare key, and spare remote key fob are all included. This is a great SUV that is hard to find with no rot. It is ready to go. It does have some average wear inside and out. The passenger side power mirror goes up and down, but not side to side (still adjusts fine manually). The right rear wheel bearing is just starting to make a little noise and will need to be replaced eventually, but it’s not urgent. The exterior has some small dings and typical scratches. There is a small amount of surface rust starting around the edges, but it’s minimal. The worst is pictured. This used to be a fire chief’s personal truck, so there are a few drill holes here and there that have been filled. Clean title. Being sold as wholesale to the public. You are more than welcome to come see the vehicle in person prior to bidding. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of the auction end. The remainder is to be paid in cash, wire transfer, or certified bank check only, no exceptions. This is due to the high Pay-Pal fees on vehicle sales. The vehicle must be picked up within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made. If the vehicle is left here longer than the 7 days without other arraignments made, it will be subject to a $20 per day storage fee. The mileage may vary slightly due to the vehicle being test driven throughout the auction. We do not charge any documentation fees, so there are no added costs after the auction. We reserve the right to end an auction at anytime due to the vehicle being for sale locally. We will entertain reasonable offers to end the auction early.
