Real Dodge Coronet R/T 440 car vin WS23L8G195599 but think it was an automatic from the factory. It has a 4 speed in it now with a Dana 60 rear end with 456 gears. The 355 gears comes with it. Guy said it was a hemi 4 speed but unable to authenticate this as it has a scatter shield on it and I have not pulled the side cover. Let's call it a 833 but if it's what he says it is, its a bonus. If you know another way other than spline count or side cover removal just ask. It was purchased from a guy who used to to street race it back in 1971 and it's been parked since 1984 and I bought it exactly as you see it. The engine did not have a carb on the vintage cross ram but I turned it over with a torque bar and socket at the crank after pulling a rag out of the intake for the storage time. It had a 1967 440 date code but cannot find the vin. stamped on the block. No pad on pass side above the oil pan sump so don't know if it's a service replacement or I'm just not finding. Im not a huge mopar guy, just like muscle cars in general. It has 906 heads, headers, Mallory, H pipe, and adjustable push rods. Factory tach and gagues. Short handle short throw shifter Ansen slots 15 inch. Body was somewhat smoothed as 70s style was. The rear quarter extentions that unbolt from inside the trunk, antenna hole, side emblem holes, and trunk filler or dutchman panel seems have been filled and also crackingion those areas along with drivers side sail panel. The car is very straight and floors trunk rust free. Only sign of any rust is in front of drivers rear quarter and behind rear wheel and pass side. Photos will show how small these areas are in next day or so. I planned to restore but another car came up that I will tackle instead. Pass wing window is broken and comes with a replacement. Door panels are very nice as is the grill and bumpers. Buldge hood and insert are in good shape. Will add more with photos in coming days. Any questions ask.
