Vehicle Detail
1976 Alfetta Sedan s/n AR116340001736 Blue Olandese with Black interior Car Resides in South Florida. Straight and solid body. Around 5800 USD spent in the car in the last four years. Best described as an "excellent driver", never intended to be a concourse car, but mechanically sound and visually stunning. Mechanicals: Engine was completely freshened by Besic Motorsport four years ago. In fact, the car belonged to the Besic family. They rebuilt the Spica Fuel injection, installed super rare tube headers and smog delete. The five speed rear transaxle was also freshened as the four wheel disc brakes and clutch. New alternator, new electric fan. This car is an ABSOLUTE blast to drive still today. I just drive it some weekends. Always garaged, never drive it in the rain. Body: The exterior went through a year-long restoration process by the former owner and repainted in the original "Blu Olandese". We did put back the original side trims on c-pillars vents and repainted in the original Blue Olandese. Turn lights were changed to orange like in the European version. "Centro Stile Alfa Romeo" badge was located below on the right front fender, like in the european Alfetta berlina "prima serie". The car had UBER wheels that were replaced by Rota wheels, a well known, by the Alfisti, recreation of the vintage Minilite Wheels. New tires. Car is rust free, undercarriage protected with Formula 3000 imported from Canada. Interior: We installed a hidden aftermarket a/c system, new headliner with the original "snake bite" material, new seats almost identical to the original pattern, original steering wheel, original ashtray, replaced the dashboard wood with original parts from Highwoodalfa GB, new Retro Sound radio (vintage Becker Mexico style, century XXI technology), and new trunk interior with Alfa badge. Tachometer and Speedometer restored in Palo Alto Speedometer, California. New speedometer and tachometer cables. New door seals. Some cracks on the dashboard, by the way. Missing Heater little levers in the dash picture. Well, I removed the heater but little levers are stored in the trunk. Non smoker car. The engine compartment and trunk are in great condition. Pictures speak for themselves. Original tools and jack. Better pictures soon. Want more pictures? Undercarriage, interior? By email. Let me know. For absolutely any questions or concerns feel free to call me anytime at 786 873 1938 -Jesus. I'd be glad to help out! Test drives and Inspections always welcome! . And you can inquire about the car to Autoveloce Inc of North Miami Beach (305 720 2470). This Alfa shop knows the car very well. Why I am selling the car? I need something bigger and with airbags to drive around the weekends with my little son: I am buying a 1995 Alfa 164S. Please, I don't deal with the shipping, is buyer responsibility. According to NADA Values, prices for Alfetta Sedans: low $3600, average $5575, high $8050. Car listed locally so may end auction early. Good Luck! On Feb-19-17 at 14:13:11 PST, seller added the following information: The original shift knob is in the trunk, with two more aftermarket shift knobs, one in wood, the other in leather, besides the wood shift knob installed right now in the sedan.I don't know why, I wasn't able to replace ,minutes ago, for better interior pictures. As I said, if someone interested, can send more pictures via email.Car looks even better in person. Interior is basically new. On Feb-26-17 at 19:00:07 PST, seller added the following information: Hi, during the last week I've received several calls, and one potential bidder sent an Alfa "connoisseur", to inspect the car. I think I took the time to answer all the questions to everybody. Here, some answers: -About the a/c:New, I haven't used it lately, I installed it new around one year ago. Just installed, I used it a couple of times. I barely use the car lately. -The synchros: Transmission is fine, but with transaxle Alfas, you always have to be careful through the gears. The Gentleman who came to test drive the car, didn't have problems with the transmission, he has been driving Alfas for 50 years. And my mechanic consider the same, but you are not buying a car with a new or just overhauled transmission, the former owner freshened the transmission 500-600 miles ago, that are the miles I have driven the car in around 4 1/2 years. By the way, I had a GTV6 years ago, and after I repaired totally the transmission, I had to be careful with the shifting too, is an old school Alfa! -New battery, but sometimes I don't start the car for weeks, and sometimes I need to use the jump starter, and the car start at once. -Tachometer works properly, I sent the gauges to repair in California in 2015, but sometimes you need to tap on top of the dash to start it, after that, is very accurate. I am willing to answer any other questions before and after the end of the auction. Thanks for ask. Good night.
