Up for auction is our family's original 1982 280ZX, I went with dad to pick up this car at the Lakeland FL Nissan/Datsun deal in Dec of 1982. We have had it ever since & she's been babied & spent most of her life (since 1984) in the pictured garage under a cover. I think longest trips she went on was up to Jacksonville and couple times. Literally for most of her life she was driven locally on weekends. Pictures tell the story. All original equipment, interior, wheels (plus and extra set of wheels that my dad found - not pictured), paint, even floor mats and Z-bra, manual. This car is perfect for a restoration but currently doesn't run (we havent' tried to fire her up for fear of hurting the engine and hasn't been run in about 10 or 12 years that I recall). Original miles are 76,036. Only sign of rust I've found is a small place at the seam on hatchback. Body condition is great with just a few dings along the side typical of doors being opened into the side. I firmly believe she would run just fine with new battery and oil change and minor parts/service. I feel to get Z car in good running shape it would need: battery, new tires, spark plugs/wires/dist cap, new hoses/belts, various fluids, drain any old gas and clean fuel system, oil change/engine compartment conditioning. The A/C was working last time she ran but may need a recharge? The tires are very old and are rotten, one is blown. Title is clear. I'm listing this for my mom and I'm in Gainesville FL but can come down to Stuart, FL if need be. Sold as is, and only bid on this if you are able to physically able to come to Stuart, Florida and get out of mom's garage and haul away on a flatbed vehicle transport. The car is in a gated community and we would need to arrange with yacht club security when you visit to pick up car. Payment by paypal.
