Up for auction 69 austin healey sprite. My friend purchased this car years ago with intention of restoring it. Guy removed fenders and primed few spots, never finished what he started.Later his health got worse and i end up buying all his cars. Im only going to keep one of them and the rest must go.This is great example of rust free project thst any one with basic to medium mechanical skills can complete in their garage or backyard.Trust me, my backyard painted motorcycles look better than 2- 3k paint jobs done by local shops.Everything is in prep work.Going back to the car.After we cleaned and filled carbs with fresh gas she fired right up.Im sure tank could use flush and new gas filter.I recommend complete carb rebuild as well.There is minor rust on the bottom of the left side fender and r/s quarter panel-Shown on picture.Solid floors and the rest.I recommend the following work before you put this car back on the road.Complete brake jobReplacement of clutch plumbing [stuck clutch]Replacement existing radiator hosesReplacement of ignition distributor with electronic one.Replacement os spark plug and cables.Flushing fuel tank and fuel line.And new paint job! In the trunk you will find:- grille- 2 radios- 2 engine gasket kits- wheel hub caps [very nice chrom]- headlamps- wiper blades- spare wheel- lug wrench and lift.- interior panels- air filters and other stuff from engine bay. Car comes with soft and hard top.I always recomend inspection in person. Car comes with clean title signed by my friend. Good luck biders! Car is sold as is where is without any warranty or guaranty.
