I now need to sell a few bikes to make room for new projects.I found this last year in the condition its currently in. The motor spins free, compression tested (at 45 degrees F in the garage) was 150-155 psi on both cylinders. I was surprised as well, so I retested with the same results. It appears this bike has never been mechanically touched. Clutch works and shifting occurs through all 4 gears, brakes work. Tail light and horn work but headlight bulb is out. Paint and chrome is in very good condition considering its age. The battery in the bike was one I installed to run the compression test, it is ok but will need to be replaced when this bike becomes a runner.Its missing the rear mud guard and needs new tires. The last time it was on the road per the license plate was 1980. The fuel in the tank was probably from that same year. The new owner will need to clean the gas tank. At some point in the history of this bike the mufflers were repaired using thin plate and lead. Certainly don't see that very often, call it character!Its very rare to come across a motorcycle of this age in such good condition. This is a quite a find.
