2001 BMW E46 M3 Convertible Here's a chance to get into a 333 HP beast without breaking the bank. If you've got the skills, this could be made into a very nice and collectible M3. Specs : 2001 BMW M3 in titanium metallic silver (color code 354) with nappa grey leather interior (n5tt) has a 6 speed manual transmission with a 3.2 to1 limited slip differential. Order options include : heated driver, passenger seatheadlight washer systempark distance controlrain sensorxenon lights With fully automatic softtop operation, dynamic stability traction control, and green stripe windscreen. Professinally installed welded subframe reinforcement. Good compression in all six cylinders. Still accelerates very quickly. Car can be driven. Will require some mechanical/cosmetic restoration to bring it back to optimal performance. Diagnostics indicate the following need replacement : one abs wheel sensorintake camshaft position sensorpre cat O2 sensorThere is a slight grind between 3rd and 4th gear. Diagnosed as worn transmission mounts and shift linkage bushings. Clunk in the rear end - needs subframe bushings. Also the usual wear and tear associated with a 15 year old vehicle with over 150,000 miles. Nicks, dings, scratches, and some crazing in the paint on the rear bumper. Faded paint on the rear panel right behind the softtop. Some interior cosmetic conditions : loose center console trim around stick shift and some other loose interior panels. Average to good tread on Goodyear Eagle asymmetrical tires. Base model 18" diameter wheels with some curb rash.
