Vehicle Detail
THIS VAN IS BEING OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE!!!!! IT WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER This is a newly painted, just professionally detailed, mint condition 3-owner conversion van with just 90,000 miles on a 5.7 Liter 8-cylinder engine and a clean Carfax. I purchased this van in the summer of 2012 from an AutoNation Chevy Dealership in South Florida with 74,000 miles on it. I wrapped the van in vinyl and used it for promotional purposes for my business and during the 4+ years I have owned it have put just 16,000 miles on it. It was rarely used and was well taken care of and maintained. Just a few weeks ago I had the vinyl removed and some of the clear coat and some of the paint came off also. The body was in excellent rust-free condition but did not look great because of the peeling so I chose to have a few small dings repaired and had the entire van painted. Because of the new paint it looks amazing and nearly new! Again, I did not paint it to hide any issues with rust or anything else. Simply, the van's interior is almost perfect and the miles are very low for the year so it seemed worth it to spend the money to have it painted...and I'm hoping potential buyers will agree. The interior, as you can see from the pictures, is also in excellent condition. I looked at many before I bought this one and most had either very high miles and/or really beat up interiors. The fact that this (then 13 year old) van was sold by one of the nations largest new car dealers should tell you all you need to know about its condition and mileage! This conversion is tastefully done, with just the right amount of wood trim and lighting. The seats, wood trim and carpet are all in nearly perfect condition and certainly much better than you would expect for a 1999 vehicle. No rips, tears, etc. This past summer (less than 5000 miles ago) I had: * air conditioner serviced/replaced ($800) * new front brakes, serviced rear drum brakes, two new tires ($1700) * new battery ($140) Last week I had: * professional interior detail ($300) * Oil Change * New oxygen sensor, new gas cap All interior/mood lights are working as is TV/VCR. Rear seat opens into bed (power), am/fm/cd radio, power windows and locks This van drives, runs and looks great inside and out! The only minor cosmetic issues I can think of is that there is some corrosion on the chrome of the front bumper (replacement/cover available for under $200) and a black plastic trim piece near bottom of windshield had a piece break off. It is not functional, just cosmetic trim and you can see it in the pictures I included if you look carefully. THIS VAN IS BEING OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE!!!!! IT WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. I know this van is worth far more than the reserve price...and its likely nicer than anything you can find from this era, so I'm hoping that its condition, low miles and the work that was put into it will be recognized by potential buyers. This van was painted just two weeks ago, was professionally detailed a few days ago, has been professionally maintained and is very likely nicer than you are even thinking but I welcome you to have a local inspection if you have any concerns. It is in an easy to get to location between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton in Southeast Florida. ATTENTION BIDDERS: You must have 10 positive reviews for your bid to be considered!
