Vehicle Detail
You are looking at my 1980 Z28. This was a project my Dad and I were working on together until he fell and broke his hip yesterday. His surgery is today. I don't really want to sell this car because I like it,but I'm going to as my Dad will not be able to help me with it any longer so it's time I guess to let someone else enjoy it and finish it off if they wish. The car runs and drives fine, goes down the highway at 80 mph with no issues but will need bits and pieces as any old Camaro would need. Best part is parts are super easy to find and pretty inexpensive. It has a new grille, brand new Cooper Cobras all the way around(20 miles on them),new correct lug nuts for the factory N90 wheels,I had the dual exhaust fixed with new glass packs, oil change, battery, correct upper radiator hose, air filter and other little misc. things. Yes,you can burn rubber in it. POSI rear-end. The car was an AC car but the compressor is not there and wasn't when I bought it. It can be hooked back up. Will need a fan switch for get the defroster/heater working again. Clifford Alarm(works and is LOUD)Nice stereo that sounds good. All gauges workAlmost 100 percent rust free. Undercarriage is super clean. Floors, trunk, rear quarters are all rust free. The right exhaust manifold has a small crack in it and it leaks a tad. I wanted to put headers on it anyway. Some of the suspension bushings should be replaced up front and the rear sway bar straightened. Not sure what happened there, but it still is fine and doesn't effect the cars drivability. Basically,it's a daily driver if you wish or a nice car to bring back and restore to it's fullest potential. This car was a California car and has not been chewed up by road salt like what happens in the Rust Belt or on the East Coast. It is very solid. Overall, this will be an easy car to fix up with a little time, money and know how or just drive it as is with minimal work. Any questions I will try to answer my best. It will need a new nose piece whenever you can replace it. Air Induction will work once the air cleaner gasket is placed. The car sounds good. I feel I have explained anything you would need to know here-if I can think of anything else,I will add the info here below. Thanks for looking and have a great day. J.
