This is a 1975 BMW R90S in silver smoke color with about 13000 miles on odometer.. It is in original/unmolested condition and in very good shape for a 41 year old classic. I bought it from the son of the owner who bought it in 1976 off the original owner, so one family has owned this bike for over 38 years.The original owner bought it new at an Indianapolis BMW dealership. I have clean Indiana title.I use it for commuting and pleasure cruises.If you are reading this you are well aware of the history and collect-ability of this bike, so i wont reiterate those details.Mechanically, no issues, Starts every time, takes about one minute to warm up,drives/runs great. Small leak in oil pan gasket, but i have ordered new one and will have it replaced before auction closes. Or just give gasket to buyer at their request.The bike has been garaged its entire life and well maintained.A few imperfections, the pictures may not show,,Dent in left tailpipe, scratches on gas tank near seat. The windshield had an extension added to it. I took it off, but the windshield has three holes where it was mounted. the windshield extension will also come with the bike. Original toolkit and owners manual also are included. LOCAL Pickup only, so bike can be inspected.For sale locally at same time, so bike may sell prior to auction close.Addition-Odometer does not work. Per previous owner said it stopped at ~11500 miles. I bought bike in 5/15 and just estimated 1500 miles added on. Tools are stamped HEYCO from West Germany. .
