This car was recently in good mechanical condition, however it currently needs an engine rebuild (or swap) due to a failed rod bearing. It currently does not run (well, it starts and runs decently aside from the racket due to the rod) The oil is currently drained due to diagnosis (has not been run without oil). The only other mechanical defect is that the instrument panel blower switch has failed. This is a common failure on Sonatas due to the switch design and high heat generated by the fan current. It is currently hard-wired to run on high or off, but would be fully functional with a new switch. A/C is good. High-pressure power steering hose recently replaced (small leak caused a failed inspection). Front tires have >50% tread, rear tires have only 3000 miles. Exterior is in decent condition, some nicks and scratches consistent with age. Interior upholstery is discolored, would be greatly improved by a detail. Includes JVC head unit with Bluetooth. Buyer must pick up / transport (will need to tow).
