Ready to Bid? If you’re ready to bid, great! Please keep in mind a few requirements and courtesies. Please intend to, and be ready & able to (financially and otherwise), complete the purchase of the vehicle within the timeframes set out herein. Participating just for sport without the intention to complete the transaction is unfair to me and to other users, and it wastes a lot of time and money. I may obtain the registered information of users participating in my auctions, and may filter or cancel any bids in my discretion. 2.2. I May End An Auction Early. "Buy it now" auctions may end at any time if the buy it now feature is exercised or a "best offer" is accepted. I seldom end "no reserve" auctions early. However, I reserve the right to end any auction without notice at any time for any reason in my sole discretion. 3. Completing the Transaction 3.1. Contact Me. If you are the winning bidder, congratulations! You must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements for the completion of the transaction. Many of my auctions end well after normal business hours, so sending me a message through eBay is generally the best way. 3.2. Pay a Deposit. You must also pay a non-refundable $500.00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction to secure the vehicle. 3.3. Pay the Balance Due. You must pay the remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes – please see 3.5, below) within 3 days after the end of the auction. 3.4. Payment Methods. I accept wire transfers, cashiers checks, and cash in person (under $10,000 only for cash). I accept PayPal for the payment of deposits only. All funds must be in US dollars. 3.5. Fees and Taxes. 3.5.1. Dealer Fee. I charge a $399 dealer fee, which will be added to all transactions. This includes winning bids, buy it now prices, and best offers accepted. I dont make exceptions for other licensed dealers. A dealer fee covers administrative papwerork and overnight postage as well as detailing fees for each vehicle. 3.5.2. Sales Tax. 3.5.2.1. Florida Buyers. I am required to collect sales tax at the rate applicable in your county at the time of sale. 3.5.2.2. Out-of-State Buyers. If you have the vehicle shipped to your location, I do not collect any sales tax; you will be responsible for paying your states sales tax directly. If you come to Florida to pick up the vehicle at my location, I am required to collect either your states sales tax, or Floridas 6%, whichever is less. Generally, you will receive a credit in your state for sales tax collected here. If I collect our 6% because your states rate is higher, you will be charged the balance in your state. I always recommend you check with your local tag agency first; although the vast majority of states have a reciprocal sales tax agreement with Florida, a few do not. Some states also have specific forms or procedures that must be used for out-of-state purchases. 3.5.3. Tag & Title. 3.5.3.1. Florida Buyers. I am required to handle your tag and title work, and I collect an estimate of those costs at the time of sale, which range from $150 to $400 depending on your specific situation. If the actual cost of title and registration is less than the estimate, I will refund you the difference; if the actual cost is more that the estimate, you will be required to pay the difference before getting your tag and title. I also reserve the right to report the issue to eBay in my sole discretion. 4. Take Delivery of Your New Vehicle 4.1. Shipping. It is frequently less expensive to have a vehicle shipped to your location than it is to fly in and drive it back, and certainly more hassle-free. I can assist you in finding a shipper and can get very competitive shipping quotes. You pay the shipper directly and are responsible for delivery arrangements. I assume no responsibility for damage to the vehicle incurred after it leaves my premises. Your vehicle will be available to ship out once full payment is received and has cleared; I send out titles once payment has cleared and all other paperwork requirements of the transaction are completed. 4.2. Pick Up. I am located at 2421 St. Johns Bluff Rd S ste 101, Jacksonville, FL 32246. If you plan to fly in, I will pick up at JAX - Jacksonville International Airport.
