This 1970 chevelle ss tribute car has a super clean, rock solid, rust free body. It has all original gm steel on the car, except the hood. Its the only new piece of sheetmetal on the car. The car has a lot of originality to it. Right down to the original AM radio(which does not work, more on that later). I replaced the left front fender, as it was all dented up. I replaced it with another fender off of another chevelle. So it is still gm steel. This car is a Mexican chevelle. A GM product of Mexico, that is why the vin number is 13537 instead of 13637 car. It is a real GM chevelle. It came with both clutch and or column shift, your choice. I made it a 4 speed car. It also came heater delete, but I put a heater in of course. Near as I can tell, it was purchased in California and had been there for quite some time before I bought the car. I live in south central Oregon, which is a very dry climate. So the car has been in a dry climate its whole life. Its a rust free car. The car is a 454, 4 speed, bucket seat car. T he motor has 38,000 original miles on it.It runs good and has plenty of power. I rebuilt the heads, which are the good heads off of a 375 hp motor. It has a Saginaw 4 speed that works just fine. planned to put a Muncie in it later but ran into health problems.That is why I am selling the car. It has a high rise assault high rise manifold and a new holley 750 carburetor, and a 540 lift cam. So it sound great with a thumpy, slightly choppy idle.Also comes with a complete new dual exhaust system, with summit headers and turbo mufflers. Has lots of new motor parts-see list below for details. It has new paint which is base coat-clear coat, and is viper red.The paint is not perfect. It has a few flaws in it, like a few paint chips and a couple of flaws on the trunk, that have been touched up and are hard to see unless you are right on top of them(still hard to see them then). It has plenty of clear on it. So overall it is thick, rich and beautiful.It has new bumpers, front and rear, new grill,new emblems throughout, new weatherstripping including window felts, new front winshield and window moldings-front and rear. New wheel well moldings, taillights and marker lights and lenses. It has all new interior including seat covers, door panels, dash pad, headliner & sail panels, sill plates, arm rests&pads, carpet and floor mats. It has the SS round gauge instrument panel with new circuit board and tachometer. Has rally wheels with new trim rings and real caps(not plastic) with new BF Goodrich radial ta tires, that are 15/60/225. I am sure I missed a few things, so see list below for details. I am forced to sell due to health problems. I had almost all work done when surgeries came. Almost all lights work, except back-up lights and tachometer(new) just haven't been physically able to hook them up. I have monly driven the car about 50 miles, but it runs and drives fine.I don't forsee any problems. As I have stated I have had a couple of surgeries including a knee replacement as of late, and cant even drive the car(sucks).This car just needs a few minor things finished, which are a couple of electrical things mentioned above, to be totally done. I just want everyone to know exactly what you are bidding on. trying to be as complete as possible.It is a very nice car and sure to please. Have to sacrifice due to health problems. MUST SELL.
