Very nice original '71 Honda CT70 with 2,046 miles, manufacture date 10/70. I purchased this mini trail in 2015 from a retired gentleman who owned it since it was brand new, it had been stored inside his garage for 40+ years. I immediately took it in for a complete servicing where it received: new carburetor new fuel lines oil changed filter cleaned gas tank cleaned tire inner tubes replaced new ignition points and condenser new spark plug new battery new headlight and tail light bulbs installed engine timing chain adjusted clutch adjusted ignition timing set chain oiled and adjusted The cost of service was nearly $1000, and they got everything working. I bought the bike for my 12 year old daughter but my wife decided it was too dangerous and will not allow her to keep it. I rode the bike for only about 2 miles and it has been parked in my garage ever since, now it needs a good home. It is the 3 speed automatic clutch version and is very clean and rust free. Not perfect, not restored, it does have it's share of nicks, scuffs, and scratches but still looks nice and shiny. I have an Owner's Manual for it, the original key, and the clear original California title. It has a blue California license plate and was last registered for the year 1980, currently out of the Department of Motor Vehicle's computer system and there are no back fees due. Sold as-is, without warranty whatsoever expressed or implied. Located in the Los Angeles area, buyer to make any and all arrangements for pick up and/or shipping but I will assist in loading it into a transport vehicle or can possibly deliver it to a local Los Angeles or Long Beach shipping terminal. $200 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end, otherwise I will offer it to the next bidder.
