Story:I just adjusted the valves, calibrated the carbs, Set timing, and did the 20 minute brake in. So 0 miles. Runs and sounds great. Does not drive. I took the tranny out and its at the shop right now. You can have the tranny with this auction. The car rolls, brakes, and steers. I bought this car un finished, not running a couple months ago. The guy told me that the original builder of it died and didn't finish it. And the widow didn't have any info on it at all. He said it was all new. It does look rebuilt. It has a builder tag on the side of the block that says "MEM 2415" I removed the pan and it looks new. It has stock rods and two bolt main. Has warranty heat tabs in a couple of the brass freeze plugs that are still good. I removed a spark plug and put a camera down the cylinder and could see nice hone marks, clean top of the piston and the number on top of the piston that reads, H423NP 040. I am a ASE Certified mechanic and have owned my own shop for over 26 years. This is a nice motor but I want something to drive every day. Buy it now price is $7500. Reserve is $6500. This car is located in Lincoln, Ca. 95648. About 30 minutes from Sacramento. I am selling so I can buy a 1966 Nova. Buyer pays and arranges all shipping. It is for sale locally and I may stop the auction at any time. I will not use paypal. Only cash, Certified Bank transfer, or certified check and wait 10 days for it to clear.
