THATS RIGHT ITS AN ORIGINAL 409 IMPALA CONVERTIBLE POWERED BY THE CORRECT "QB" CODE DUAL 4 BARREL ENGINE- CASTING # 3788068 THAT WAS REBUILT IN 2010. TOPPED BY THE CORRECT CARTER AFB CARBS ITS A RUNNER. THE TRANSMISSION WAS UPGRADED TO A 5 SPEED TREMEC FOR DRIVING ENJOYMENT ON THOSE LONGER CRUISES. THE POSI TRACTION REAREND SPORTS A SET OF 3:73 GEARS AND WAS REBUILT DURING RESTORATION AS WELL. THE FRONT SUSPENSION WAS REBUILT AND NEW BODY MOUNTS, FLOORPANS, TRUNK PAN AND NEW HEAVY DUTY COIL SPRINGS WERE INSTALLED AS WELL.
