Vehicle Detail
Mazda's MX-5 Miata has been the defining sportscar of the last 25 years. This example is from the second generation NB body style. It has been my near-daily driver for the last 2 years. It is currently my daily driver, so mileage will increase roughly 28 miles a day. It has been very reliable, and economical, getting 25-26 mpg in my driving, which has been primarily highway.Pros:A/C is ice cold and heat will roast you. Rear defroster works wonderfully. Reliable; has only broken down on me twice in 2 years, both were mistakes I made. Sporty; Rear wheel drive, 5 speed manual, sport tuned 4 cylinder, plus a corner carving suspension Convertible; Drop the top and let in the sun and fresh air, exhilarating wind through your hair, couldn't stop smiling even if you tried, driving experience Trunk; relatively small, but can hold 2 sets of golf clubs, or a person's groceries. Cons:Limited interior; with the top up, cabin is cozy for 2CD player doesn't play CDs; Radio still works and is loud in stereoDriver's side fender has a large dent; I have a replacement fender available if the price is rightPeeling paint on hood, fendersCheck Engine light is on; has been on since purchased 2 years ago, is EGR related and car runs and drives fine despite it, no stumbles or issues.Cigarette lighter doesn't work, so charging a phone won't happenDriver's side window only goes halfway down(fairly common issue). Car has been well-maintained in my possession, with oil changed regularly, serpentine belt changed, new BFGoodrich g-force Sport Comp-2 Summer tires(May 2016). I honestly would drive this car anywhere, has been very good to me, but I think I need something more practical. Considering my proximity to CVG airport, it may even be feasible for a buyer to fly in and drive this car home, just a suggestion.
