This little Tacoma has been a great vehicle for my High School son, but he no longer needs it. The 4 wheel drive works flawlessly. The interior is very clean and (of course) he's a non-smoker.The exterior does have a few blemishes and some light surface rust at the lower edge of the driver's side door as well as the lower edge of the tailgate. However, neither area is rusted through.The frame is remarkably clean and only minimal signs of corrosion. Although it Has 265,000 miles, I've driven it to my farm(over 4 hours each way at interstate speeds) and this truck delivered a nice smooth ride. The AC/Heat works a little too well for me. My son can freeze me in the summer and take my breathe away with heat in the winter. The only negatives I can think of really are: The check engine light is on and has been since I bought it. I've had it checked out at 2 different shops and BOTH say it is just an emmitions code. Since it isn't affecting drivability or my MPG(still getting close to 25mpg) I never got it fixed.And, it could probably use a brake change at some point. Lastly, it has 2 brand new BF Goodrich tires and the other 2 have decent tread but some dry cracking. I have the truck listed "for sale" locally as well and reserve the right to end this auction at anytime.
