This is an all original Amphicar that has been in the same family in Uganda for over 30 years.Its one of three amphicars imported into the country the Ministry of Agriculture in the 60's and after using them for some years they were auctioned off and my father emerged the winning bidder for all three. Along the years we abandoned one of the three and it rusted away sadly-its body with out the engine and transmission is also for sale(pictures also attached).The other Amphicar sold earlier to a buyer in Germany. This particular one drives and SWIMS well,mechanically nothing to talk about as all is fine-only door seals will need replacing. The car is sold on a clear title.The Buy it Now price should be $20,000 but very near offers are welcome.The auction can be ended any time if deal is reached. Uganda being landlocked there's some distance from Kampala to Mombasa the nearest port of pickup in Kenya,so I highly advise arranging shipping directly from Kampala to wherever as its cheaper and easier.People tend to think that shipping from here is a headache,NO its not I ship cars from here and things go smoothly.I advise using MSC(Mediterrean Shipping Company),as soon as you settle with them they will take over things including paperwork preparation and deliver the car to your door.Note that cars older than 25 years are exempted from most US Auto requirements so customs isn't a worry either if your in USA.
