Too many toys and it is time part ways with this one sadly. This is an extremely rare vintage race car from a time when drivers were borderline insane. The car that inspired this kit car won quite a few races including the infamous 24 hours of lemans from 1931 to 1934. The last real one of these cars sold for over $4 million. For more info on this car I would recommend checking out the Jay Leno's Garage episode featuring it. The car at its core is a professionally done kit car using a 1977 Volkswagen motor and chassis. Despite it being a kit car the attention to detail is amazing and you would have to see it to truly appreciate it. The motor runs strong and fires up every time. True to its more original form, the brakes are drum brakes. The transmission does have some play when going into 3rd gear but it still shifts fine and the clutch is solid.
