1990 SILVERADO 1500 Up for auction is a very clean, very original 1990 Chevy Silverado. This truck has very low miles at just over 96k and has been very well taken care of. This truck runs and drives like a new one. Everything is nice and tight. Fires right up, no smoke, does not use oil. This truck has a 305 / 5.0L V8 with 700r automatic transmission, A/C, tilt, and cruise. The engine runs very smooth with no noises and no leaks. Good power for a 305 too. Exhaust is nice and quiet. Transmission shifts like it should with no slippage or hard shifts. Fresh tune up, new alternator, and new front brake calipers and brake pads. Tagged in Delaware until May 2017. Has the factory aluminum rims with white letter tires with plenty of tread left. The body is exceptionally clean for an original truck. There is ZERO rust. The top of the truck has been repainted from the pinstripe up because the paint was delaminating which is common on these 80's and early 90's GM trucks due to the electrodeposition (ELPO) primer GM was using. The repaint was done correctly and was taken down completely to bare metal (can email pictures if wanted) and then primed and painted in the factory blue. The new paint is about a shade lighter than the original paint but with the silver pin stripe and the way the body curves at that point and the metallics in the paint it is hard to notice and actually looks very good. The truck looks amazing in person. There are some very minor road chips on the side body from normal driving (see pictures) but all in all it is in really nice condition. The underbody is very rust free and clean. The interior is very nice condition. There is slight wear on the seat and door pad but no rips or stains and is in really nice condition. Also there are zero cracks in the dash since it was garaged most of its life. Inside the bed is almost like the day it came off the assembly line. That is the original paint in the bed but it's had a carpet in it with a bed liner on top of that since new. This is one of the cleanest 88-98 short beds you will find, take a look at those rocker and cab corners, untouched original condition and like new. This truck can be bought and driven anywhere in the country with no issues. It is priced to sell with a reserve set thousands under what it is worth.
