September 22, 2016: Vehicle mileage: 164,193 miles. Amazingly enough, the odometer (photo) indicates I have driven it exactly 100,000 miles. Original drive shaft still on hand and is included. 8 Starter replaced at 112,000 mi. in 2000. 9 Master cylinder at 117,362 mi. in 2000. 10 Climate control programmer in 2001. 11 Air conditioner repair at 124,200 mi. in 2001. 12 Timing chain, cam shaft & hydraulic lifters, fuel pump, oil pump, water pump, heavy duty radiator at 124,400 mi. in 2001. 13 Heavy duty front springs at 131,000 mi. in 2002. 14 Rear main bearing seal at 131,500 mi. in 2002. 15 Air shocks at 133,600 mi. in 2002. 16 Alternator at 141,000 mi. in 2002. 17 All brake pads/shoes at 142,000 mi. in 2002. 18 Breakerless SE electronic ignition conversion kit at 143,000 mi. in 2002 (easily returned to points & condenser—in box in trunk). 19 Fan belts at 154,100 mi. in 2003. 20 Center link at 157,000 mi. in 2003. 21 Gas tank replace and State inspection in June, 2005. Detailed Observations: This car's interior is cosmetically very poor and the body has rust. NOTE: Although the fender skirts are not on the car for the photos, they are both in the trunk. Body rust is an issue in the skirt areas. The frame, on the other hand, is very solid and the car runs extremely well. It flies! Back to the interior: It has been suffering from severe dryness and cracking since I bought it in 1993. The seats ripped and shredded under normal use. The dashboard has splits and cracked speaker grills (photo). This vehicle has been parked in a garage with very little use for the last 12 years. It was last driven on the street in June of 2005. This has contributed to: a Engine compartment surface rust (photo). b Leaky transmission seals (usually add a quart of transmission fluid when engine is started a time or two each year). Other issues: Exhaust manifold sounds a little leaky. Brake line to rear leaks on passenger side. Side mirror adjust cable out of order, various body rust (photos), trunk latch adjustment (not tight when closed), trunk lock covering emblem fell off but still on hand (photo). Driver’s window scratched along track path. Back window leaks into trunk shelf above wheel wells. The trunk springs are broken. Trunk lid is very heavy! AC/Climate Control/blower, etc. not turning on. Heat and blower worked when parked 12 years ago. The AC generally worked too, but it needed servicing shortly before parked. Mechanical Observations: The car runs well, has good tires and a new NAPA battery. Review the maintenance highlights above for the service details. The frame is solid and the car sits high on its suspension. This is due to the heavy duty front springs and the rear air shocks. It can haul a heavy load!
