This is a single owner vehicle that is and has always been garaged kept. This is still our primary driver so mileage may be slightly higher upon the end of the auction (less than 500 miles) The vehicle has been meticulously maintained from the inception as we are a Volvo for life family. We keep our Volvos for at least 10 years and often over 200k miles. Our Volvos never leave us stranded or disappointed. The scheduled maintenance and oil changes have been adhered to with traditional oil. The color is still strong and a good buffing will bring it back to near show room for color and tint. As mentioned this vehicle has been garage kept but is a daily driver and has several small chips in the paint on the hood and several small scratches and door dings. There is a small hole (pencil eraser size) in the front bumper trim. The interior seats and carpet are in good condition with no rips or tears. The rear tires are good, but the front tires are ready to be replaced. There is an intermittent shifting issue with the transmission and the check engine light is lit. You are bidding on a 15-year-old commuter car. This is not a show quality car this is a work horse that has been very nicely maintained. As such there is no warranty on the car and buyer is responsible for pickup and transport of the vehicle. This car with some small investments is the perfect first car for you child or the car that your child takes to college. Volvo has built their reputation on safe and reliable transportation. And I would argue comfort and class. The book on the car is 1700. So for the motivated 1700 – 150 (used CEM on ebay) – 250 (new tires) = 1300 1300 (value) for 300 Get crazy and buy a used transmission on ebay 350 and you are still looking at 950 value OR a perfect parts car.
