Up for sale is my 1965 Mustang Fastback that I have owned for 11 years, but now I am ready for another project so it is time to sell. Rangoon red(J paint code), C code. 289 engine (original numbers matching), Holley 600 carb, T5 transmission, A/C, 17 inch torque thrust wheels, and Rally Pack(with aftermarket gauges). To the best of my knowledge this car is mostly all original except for hood, left fender, 2 front floor pans, rear valance (because I replaced it with a GT valance panel), and one patch on left rear quarter. It does have the original molding and bumpers. The body lines and door jams are wonderful. The car has never been painted any color other than Rangoon Red. I still have the dealer floor mats. This car has won several shows and was featured on Performance TV in 2015. This is also a very dependable driver for cruising or long trips. Every year since I bought the car, I drive it 2 1/2 hours(one way) to an annual show and she always does great. Pictures do not do this car justice. It is a must see! *NOTE* I still have the original 3 speed, 2 barrel intake, carb, and factory hub caps which will also go with the sale in case someone wanted to put back to original specs.On Aug-19-16 at 21:07:28 PDT, seller added the following information: This car is for sale locally so I do have the right to end the auction.
