Up for auction is a 1968 Dodge Charger RT, 440 - 4 speed. I am selling this car for a friend and you will be doing all your correspondence with me regarding the vehicle and the sale of the vehicle. I have the clear title in hand. The owner has had the car since 1995 and has kept it in a climate controlled garage; it was driven occasionally to local car shows. This car is one of only 2743 - 440 4 speed cars produced. According to the fender tag, this car was ordered by the original purchaser - meaning it was an ordered car when built. This is a numbers matching car - motor and transmission. The numbers are stamped on the engine and transmission matching the VIN. It has the original fender tag, but NO build sheet. The car is dark racing green metallic, with green interior and black vinyl top. It has a factory tic-toc-tac. The tac is not working and the radio does not work. The heater works, it's a non air conditioned car. The car starts and runs good. It has a 6 way drivers seat. All the gauges are in working order. The transmission shifts out good and has a good clutch in it. I have driven the car and it is very dependable and reliable and I feel it could be driven back to destination by buyer if desired. The engine runs cool and it's very smooth on the highway. I prefer calls to e-mails, but I will respond to them.
