....Hello diesel family and friends, thank you for your faithful following and Happy and blessed new year to everyone from Chambers Diesel,,I'd like to share a little about my self just to let you all know who you are dealing with before we get together in a business deal, I also have all my policies which have worked for me the past 14 years dealing on ebay and online deals so please read, thanks ... my name is Tom and my son Rob, I am a licensed mechanic and PA diesel truck dealer with experience going back to the early 1970's. For those of you who remember when you got your car fueled up the attendant that ran out to fill your car up? That was me....it is where I started my journey into the car business, at 14 I walked down to my uncles Texaco station in south central PA, after football practice, I'd put on my striped shirt and greeted the customers filled them up, checked the oil, washed the windows and whatever else I could do to get tips;). He let me in the garage when I got to high school and did engine work, brakes, welding and just about everything else but where I really excelled is when he started selling cars, I enjoyed helping customers find the car or truck or there dreams. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened this small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. If you give me the opportunity I promise I will do everything in my power not to let you down... I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3's trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California,Texas, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast. A few things to know before bidding or becoming interested in one of my trucks, I do not play games with the price, I do my homework price low for fast cash sales on the buy it now that is what I need (bottom dollar)if you do the research you will see, however serious cash buyers are encouraged to bring cash offers close to buy it now we might deal to the right buyer, the right buyer to me does his or her homework and knows the market price on these old diesels, is easy to deal with and has there expectations in line, what I'm not looking for is people shooting lowball prices, bringing a magnifying glass to scrutinize a 15-20 year old work truck, if you need new I do not sell that they are tens of thousands of dollars more money and don't last long at all go to the new dealer if that is the case. But if your serious about buying a nice older diesel and are good to get along with that is me as well I will make you a sweet deal, stop down if you can.. That's not all she is a New Mexico 1 owner completely rustfree with tons of maintence complete and ready for another 20 years of towing... Mechanically she has had oil every 5000, she fires right up no misfire no check lights, leaks or blow by, awesome power had a set of oem injectors recently, I installed a set of injector harness, computer and a TS-5 to it for added power and fuel miles like my powerstroke I own personally. Excellent ball joints, brakes and exhaust, new rubber 10 plys mounted an alcolla alloy buds. I also rebuilt the shifter and tranny she drives tight shifts tight 100% ready to go.Inside the interior is clean no rips or tears , non smoker owner, everything working and cold air, frame is mint, real nice original body paint is nice no accidents or rust ect , this is one you can not only be proud to have in the driveway but have a super dependable truck for many years to come, not like a new one of today these were built to last. I own this same truck mine has 400K on it and I never did engine work, so trust me this is the one you want,,,my price is not only fair but firm serious buyers can call not so serious feel free to look, Keeping things real lets keep in mind she is a 22 year old pickup in not restored condition and although nicer than most 95's out there some wear and tear to be expected like rock chips here and there minor parking lot dings and bings(mostly on tailgate) interior wear and stuff like that.
