For Sale via the auction method at NO RESERVE BEGINNING AT ONE PENNY is my 1978 Cadillac Sedan DeVille with an amazing 22,000 ORIGINAL MILES!!! BIG 425 V8 engine with the 4BBL carburetor. Driving this car is like stepping back in time. The story is that an elderly gentleman bought it for his son who drove it for a few years and then the son died. The dad put it under a carport and there it sat for many years. I bought it and wanted to bring back to its former glory. Clear KY title in my name stating mileage as 22,043 actual. Several pieces of provenance, paper work, owners manual etc. New A/C compressor on it and charged it up with R134a freon. New headliner as it was drooping down (common for this age vehicle)New tiresNew oil changeNew batteryNew windshield (Satellite Auto Glass)New paint/pinstripe, professionally done, (car was machine sanded, primered, wet hand sanded, then painted and pinstriped. Interior is in exceptional condition. Lifelong nonsmoker. Windows roll up and down quickly. Runs great. Runs down the road straight on acceleration, steady speed and stopping. No pulls, no grabs. Transmission shifts great. Bumper fillers have been replaced between tail lights and trunk and between front bumper and fenders. Carpet and floor mats are original and in excellent condition. Trunk carpeting is in excellent condition also (not like you're going to be spending a lot of time back there...just saying...No cracks in any glass or in the dash or door panels. Power locks work fine. Pics do not do justice but it is an impressive car and will turn heads everywhere you go. The only thing I can find that is not working is the cruise, have not diagnosed but wanted to be upfront about what I know. Just had the car out today and it runs great!
