I'm selling my 2004 Ford F150 Fx4 SuperCab.I have purchased it last year in hopes of turning it into a nice reliable workhorse this upcoming winter.I had plans to use it for snow-plowing.However,I got a really nice job offer that leaves me no room to do what I had planned.For those of you who done this,you know you gotta be available 24/7 the whole winter.So I had to choose one job.That's why I have decided to sell my truck.Let me tell you what has been done to the truck so you know how special it is.Btw I have had 2 other Fx4s in the last 10 years.I love these trucks and I know a lot about them.I have almost $5000 in parts alone invested in it.I got every little receipt to prove it.All of the work has been performed by a life long friend of mine who is a Ford certified technician.The truck was over at his house for about 3 months.He has done/installed the following:-new 5.4 3V Triton Engine(purchased on ebay from Promar Engines,best guys ever,they sold many of these and got positive feedback from everyone)-3 YEAR/UNLIMITED MILEAGE WARRANTY(transferable)Paid $3150 for it.Engine came with brand new Phasers.It was installed on May 7th 2016(after installation papers were filled out and sent back to Promar Engines to validate warranty)-2 new VCT sensors(genuine Ford)-new front engine cover(genuine Ford)-valve covers jet cleaned and sand blasted(machine shop)-new oil pan-new water pump-new alternator-new starter-new serpentine belt-new tensioners(4 pullies)-new spark plugs(genuine Ford)-new engine cooling fan clutch-new power steering pump-new engine oil and filter-new coolant-new air filter-transmission flushed,refilled,new filter-2 new front strut assemblies with coils etc -2 new running boards-new windshield installed(old one had a crack that was progressing little by little each week)-new window regulator(passenger)-new heater blower resistor-new power window master switchThe truck has minor dings and scratches here and there.The interior is very nice and clean(few minor driver seat imperfections)Mechanically it's superb.The only issue that I can think of is the A/C leaked out after about 2 weeks of not using the truck.It might have a tiny leak somewhere but it works for sure when it's charged up!) Let me honestly say that whoever buys this truck will have one heck of a reliable workhorse.New engine,new accessories,lots of extras.You're getting a 3year/unlimited mileage warranty on the engine.There is no doubt that whoever would have spent around $8000 on all of this would have never sold the truck until the warranty was out.They would wait the next 3 years to get their moneys worth.I'm making a huge sacrifice here so I hope you guys who know this stuff appreciate it as much as me.Good luck bidding!Thank You!
