I purchases this truck three years ago from Mack Brown Chevrolet in Boone, NC from their private collection. This truck was painted a few months before I purchased it. It is a good solid paint with a really nice clear coat. Truck was also sprayed with an undercoating under the truck to give it a nice clean look. I literally have put 651 miles over the three years I’ve owned it. My wife wants a new kitchen and she’s tired of looking at it in the garage. This truck is will turn heads every time you drive it. It doesn’t smoke when started, but is cold natured. As you can imagine with a beast of a motor. Someone will honk or give you a thumbs up when you’re driving down the road every time. I haven’t done any modifications to the truck and the only thing I can tell that has been done to it is the exhaust. It’s not very loud, just sounds like an awesome truck driving down the road. I have a new set of fogs lights, but have never installed them. Truck blows cold air and drives great. There is one spot on the driver’s seat that looks like a small cigarette burn. The glove box needs a new liner, so latch will lock a little better. It will need a new oil pan gasket some time as it does drip a little oil. It does have an aftermarket stereo and 6 disk CD changer. The radio doesn’t work, but the CD changer does. I never taken the time to have it fixed. The truck has new Cooper Cobra tires…well, new when I bought the truck. Overall, this truck is in fantastic shape. There are a few very minor imperfections that won't show up in pictures, but considering its age, you'd be hard pressed to find a better truck at the same price. It does have a couple of small scratches on the hood that can be buffed out. This truck needs nothing to take you cruising anywhere you want to go and look awesome doing it. You'll be proud to go to your local cruise night or car show in this truck. I'll be sad to see it go. The C/1500 full size pickup was a surprising platform for a high performance vehicle. Yet it translated into a powerful and unassuming beast! Equipped from the factory with a 7.4L (454ci) V8, the SS produced 230hp and 385 lb/ft of torque. Power was distributed to the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission and a 3.73 locking differential. The 454 SS was also equipped for luxury. Finished in Onyx Black with Garnet Red custom cloth reclining high-back bucket seats, this pickup was ready for the strip or a night out on the town.
