For sale is my 1981 Honda XR250R. I am the original owner. It has been titled in Michigan for the purpose of riding in enduros, some of which used public roads. To title it, I added a headlight, tail light, brake light, and a horn. I last rode it in 1997 and it has been in dry storage ever since then. There is no gas in the tank. When parked in 1997 it was in excellent running condition, but I suppose it needs an oil change and fuel system cleaner before starting it again. It also needs new brakes, front and rear. The kick starter cranks the engine smoothly. But I did not try to start it today. In 1997, with gas in the tank, it would usually start on the first kick. 1981 was the first year for Honda's Pro-link rear suspension.
