This 1971 corvette engine has been rebuilt at some point in time; the engine has no leaks and does not smoke.This motor is a true 1971 power house Corvette engine with a RPO CODE M40 Turbo Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission.This Black Beauty also has factory RPO code C60 air conditioning but needs a compressor, the fan blower works great and has great heat. This is indeed a rare corvette!!!! 1969 was the last year that paint code 19 black was available on a corvette untill 1977 when they rolled out of the St. Louis plant and the last of the era for a small window corvette. The T-tops seal as they should and have the original t-top covers all the soft seals are in very good condition this black beauty has a new battery and new cooper tires. The deep dish rally wheels look like new and have new trim rings and the centers are in very good shape, it also has new front brake pads, master cylinder, and calipers and lines. The headlights have new actuators and all vacumn hoses have been replaced. It has the factory original jack, the under carriage is very clean from the frame to the floor pans and it also has newer suspension componets.
