Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a beautiful 2001 Laguna Seca Blue BMW M3 from my private collection of ten unique German and American Muscle cars. Selling only to make room for my 1972 BMW 2002 tii that is coming out of restoration later this month. My loss your gain. I acquired this vehicle about 5 years ago and have enjoyed 20,000 or so miles of carefree, fun spirited driving. It is ready for the next owner and would make a great daily driver, track car, or weekend cruiser for the true BMW enthusiast. Completely stock and in original condition, including original M3 wheels. Bid with confidence on this private owner car that has been in a climate controlled warehouse for my entire ownership. Mechanicals This car starts, stops, and handles as it should. It roars through the RPM band with abandon and as BMW engineers intended. A true joy to drive. No issues with engine, cooling system, charging sytem, suspension, clutch, etc. No warning lights. Only issues I've noticed recently are power door lock button on center console does not operate doors, windshield washer pump not working (fuse?), and key FOB locks car, opens trunk, but does not unlock doors. Will check 2nd key FOB later this weekend. Serviced regularly at Sam's BMW in Jacksonville Fl. No fluid leaks, engine does not use/burn any oil. No funny smells, rattles, squeaks, this car drives straight and true. Normal mechanical wear for 130k miles, ever so slight play in shifter mechanism and steering. Exterior Photos should speak for themselves. I am very particular in the exterior of the vehicles I purchase and collect. You will be hard pressed to find a door ding, scratch, or imperfection in the paint. Photos are after washing only, no buffing or waxing. Front valence is in excellent shape without normal curb damage. This color is the rarest and most sought after for the 2001 model year. Interior Gray leather interior and carpets are original and in very good condition given the age. It seems that for most of the life this was a single occupant car. Passenger and rear seat are very good, driver seat has a little leather fading and surface cracking - but still supportive and good condition. Rear console piece is broken. Dash has no cracks. Pictures are representative. Power seat and bolster functions work. Rear window tinting starting to bubble a bit and needs removal or replacing. No reserve action, I will sell this car to the highest bidder. You bid is a contract, please bid only if serious. Will assist with meeting transport company. E-mail with quesitons.
