I am listing this car for a friend, the car is located in Point Pleasant Beach NJ. The car runs and drives excellent, it is recommended that you inspect and test drive this restored VW. This car has a low reserve, any questions can be directed to the seller at (917) 209-0070The winning bidder will be responsible for all related cost to delivery and or shipping of this vehicle. This is a 1970 VW, purchased by a man, new in Pennsylvania in 1970. The owner’s manual in the glove box, has been stamped by the dealer, ARICSON VOLKSWAGEN Inc., Norristown, PA. and also a pen from Vale-Rio Diner Open 24Hrs. Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. (just saying). The uncle gave this VW to his nephew in New Jersey with over 115,000 miles. The Nephew disassembled the VW had it repainted, replaced all the rubber window gaskets, replaced the headliner, installed a AM/FM radio under dash (original radio still in dash) & rear speakers were installed under the headliner, new repo floor mats, inside door panels both sides replaced, floor pan appears to be original & solid, glass has all VW code markings, engine was rebuilt with dual port heads, back seat has the original luggage strap and looks to be original, the front driver’s seat matches the back seat and passenger seat is a different pattern, front & rear seat belts look to be original. The nephew reassembled the VW, sold it to an 80-year-old neighbor. I bought it from that gentleman, odometer over 121,000 miles. I bought the VW and installed, new battery, new carburetor, new electronic distributor, replaced gas tank & sending unit, new master cylinder, brake light switch and added a larger oil pan for capacity. I have some extra VW parts & a new interior visors included with the VW. When I bought this VW I had a promotional idea I wanted to use it for, that changed so I am now putting it up for sale.
