Vehicle Detail

Offering a beautiful survivor. 1977 Mercury Marquis Brougham with less than 20,000 documented miles. One of the last years of the truly big full size cars. I have all service records since new. Car was purchased new at Jim Dellaria Lincoln-Mercury in western Pennsylvania and has been in the area with the same family until I acquired it in 2014. Work I had performed include: professionally rebuilt carburetor; new fuel filter and fuel line; changed oil & filter (used Mobil 1 full synthetic); new air filter; new spark plugs, wires, rotor & distributor cap; 4 new radial white wall tires; new heavy duty shocks; new old stock (NOS) period correct Ford Town & Country AM/FM Station Search Radio; rebuilt analog clock; new battery. This car is ready to drive anywhere. The new tires and heavy duty shocks really improved the ride in this land yacht. The interior is in fantastic condition for a 39 year old car. The dash pad is intact and straight as an arrow. The steering wheel is not cracked and in good condition. EVERYTHING works as it should, all gauges & lights. AC Blows cold. Cruise control works, all windows work and the electric drivers seat also functions as it should. Seats are immaculate as is the headliner. The exterior shows well for 39 years old. On the outside, there are certainly chips in the paint and touch ups where chipped, but the paint is all original and the body is straight with absolutely no rust. The bright trim is good with the rear chrome bumper showing some slight pitting on the top surface, but not bad at all and perfectly fine for cruising. The original blue vinyl top is in great condition with no bubbling or lifting . I planned to drive this car but thought perhaps a collector would appreciate this low mileage survivor rather than me drive it into history. They don't make em like this anymore! The spare tire is original to the car and has never been used and the jack has never been removed from the trunk.
