1957 MGA – This was originally a California car that sat in a garage for 30 years after the owner passed. It’s showing 18,000 miles and I believe this to be accurate. The car was originally red, the gentleman that I bought it from stated that his wife didn’t like the color so she had it repainted white shortly before she passed. The re-spray is fairly poor quality but the body is in great shape with no rust. The interior and top are in fair condition. Many of the rubber components have dried out but I purchased a complete body Rubber kit from Moss Motors that will go with the car. The cars Runs and drives (needs muffler) - I rebuilt the carburetors, installed new plugs, wires and points. I also replaced the master cylinder (Brake& Clutch) and clutch slave cylinder. The carbs still need final tuning and the brakes should be gone through before any serious driving.
