1974 VW Thing---- I don't want to sell this but we are Building a Home in the Mountains and Mama says it has to go Bought this from a elderly man that drove it daily. He also Towed it behind his Motorhome. Just like him it hurts to sell this. Mechanically it runs great. Shifts Good and Brakes are Good Also. I have Perfected the Exterior on the Thing. Exterior Completely taken apart and painted---All new spline seals and any body work was done---Original paint color was applied-- no rust---Looks like new-- New tires wheels and caps were installed--- Comes with tow bar and electrical hookups-- Top is in Good Condition and back plastic window is clear. There are (2) areas that were sewed together and done Right New chrome tail pipes--- All new rubber around hood and engine compartment-- New Windshield Rubber Seals-- New Headlight Chrome Rings, ,Turn signal assembly, Rear Red and Amber lenses-- New Door seals New Washer Nozzle and Seals- What need to be done next is my opinion to make this a (10) is to slowly go through the interior with minor loving care. Seats are Good. Floor Covering is Good It will come with a Tow Bar We have all of the windows It has a Car Cover Needs Radio and Speakers They don't get any better than this one.
