I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER of this well cared for 1997 BMW 528i (E39) with only 110,000 miles. Vehicle is in good condition wipth a few minor flaws but nothing too serious. The vehicle has been regularly maintained. The car has Cruise Control, Fog lights, Variable Intermittent Wipers, Factory AM/FM/CD, A/C, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Seats, Heated Front Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, Power Sunroof, Audio Controls on SteeringWheel, 60/40 Split Rear Seat, and more. The Exterior of the car is BMW Alpine White. There are a few dings (see picture) but overall it's in good shape. The paint finish looks good. The rear bumper has a couple of areas where the paint is cracked (see pictures) and the front bumper has a scratched/painted area (see picture). The interior is in good condition. The carpet is in good shape, as are the black leather seats except for one small puncture in the leather of the rear seat (see picture). The power functions (windows, seats, sunroof, etc) all work. The gauges and instrumentation all work. The original stereo (including cassette player and trunk-mounted CD) works. The A/C and heat, as well as the heated seats and heated steering wheel, all work. The alarm was disconnected years ago so I am not sure if it works. The steering is tight and the ride is solid. The transmission shifts well and the muffler is quiet. The check engine light recently came on but the engine sounds fine.I have one full function key (which needs a new battery) and a valet key. Intermittently the seat belt needs to be giggled so that the seat belt light goes off and I believe the windshield wiper fluid tank has a leak. The 4th generation 5 series (E39) was produced by BMW in the USA from 1997-2003. Car and Driver magazine put the 5 series on its TenBest list for six years in a row (1997-2002). A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of auction close to secure your bid and full payment must be made within 7 days of auction close. If you want to inspect the car after you pay the required deposit, but before full payment is made, I will refund the deposit if you are not satisfied with your inspection for any reason
